Life in a Frame

"The City of Waltham"

Using your artists eye, travel out into the city you live in and capture Waltham with photography.
Take five or more pictures of any area in Waltham that expresses the city visually. Consider taking vertical and horizontal pictures,
Make sure you know what you are taking a picture of... be specific!
Remember to have a subject (your focal point) and the rule of thirds.
As always, pay special attention to the amount of light within your scene. Position the sun behind you, or the side of the subject.
Get close to your subject - don't zoom in, move yourself physically closer to the subject (only if it's safe of course!)

Compose your pictures - Remember "The Rule of Thirds"

We will practice digital photography techniques using Adobe Photoshop, like these:

These images will be used for two projects:

The Waltham Education and Beyond Foundation benefit photo exhibit

Thirty student photos will be sold at the benefit event, sponsored by the CTE program at The Paine Estate on Thursday, March 25th.
Proceeds will be donated to the foundation, and the student!duomo1.jpg
